Back at CES 2013, the company gave us a peek into its smart fridge, the T9000 that had a 10-inch touchscreen and apps including Twitter, Epicurious, a Google Calendar client, among others.

Samsung also announced a new partnership with MasterCard in a setup that will allow owners of the fridge shop for groceries at FreshDirect and ShopRite straight from the refridgerator.

LG comes with a new lineup, which includes an updated version of its WebOS software, promising to ease the process of jumping between online programs and broadcast TV channels.
