Should Arsene Wenger sell any of his unsettled players?

Top of the league, a game in hand and we're playing some of the best football that we've seen in years, but Arsene Wenger is facing arguably the most difficult period of his career.

Now I'm not saying that the baord is breathing down his neck or that he's in danger of getting the chop, but his man management skills are being tested to the max because of the number of players - some of them world class - who are being forced to sit on the sidelines.

If you believe the rumours, among the disenchanted in the Gunners first team squad are Jens Lehmann, Abou Diaby, Gilberto, Lassana Diarra and Justin Hoyte.

Catering to the needs of those players while others get regular action must be testing Le Gaffer's powers of persuasion as he tries to keep his winning squad together.

But the question is, who do you think Arsenal should sell if the club receives a big offer from one of our European rivals?

Rumour has it that Manchester City are among the clubs interested in trying to land Jens Lehmann in the January transfer window, with the lure of helping the team qualify for a spot in the UEFA Cup, or better, next season. There are also a host of German clubs waiting in the wings for their national keeper. The fee? Somewhere in the region of the £1 million mark.

Gilberto supposedly has a number of clubs tracking him, including Juventus, Inter Milan and Valencia. The price for his services could be anywhere between £6-10 million.

Justin Hoyte has a number of Premier League admirers, notably Sunderland, and occupies a position where the Gunners are well catered for at the moment. The price for Hoyte would likely be about £3 million.

As for Diaby and Diarra, there would be no shortage of offers should Wenger decide to put them on the transfer market. Diarra cost the club a bargain £2 million, so a profit would not be difficult to achieve, while Diaby cost a similar fee and would also be expected to fetch more having developed into an accomplished midfielder during his time in North London.

So would you sell any of them? Make your selection and click on Vote. I'll post the results here on Saturday.

I think Wenger should let go of lehmann first,as he is not fit to be arsenal's no 1,he should buy carlos kameni in his place. He should also let go of justin hoyte ,it would only be fair to him as his position is currently well catered for and he is young and daveloping fast so he shouldn't be on the bench.we should also sell Gilberto for the same reason and bearing in mind his age too.His position is more than catered for and doesnt look like the Gilberto of the famous unbeaten team.
