Your vote: Arsenal will win title as Tottenham get relegated

Crikey you lot are harsh. The other day I used the Polldaddy technology to set up a survey asking you how many places you thought Tottenham would finish behind Arsenal this season, and your overwhelming answer was a whole division behind us.

Now that’s either wishful thinking or you believe that the Spuds poor start will continue until May, while at the same time Arsenal sweep everybody aside to lift the Premier League title.

A whopping 44% of you who voted in the poll believe the Gunners will win the league, while Tottenham are relegated. As I said, that’s harsh. But you never know, with the mob at Light Weight Lane languishing in 18th position in the Premiership and having only 7 points after 10 games, it does indeed look bleak.

With a new manager coming in, the Lilywhites' turmoil will no doubt continue, as he gets rid of the players he sees as surplus to requirements and brings in new faces to try to turn the club's fortunes around. And if, as rumoured, that new manager is Sevilla’s Juande Ramos, who doesn’t speak English, perhaps the Tottenham faithful might indeed have something to look forward to - the Championship trophy next season would be Spuds’ first trophy in years, after all.

Our poll also pointed towards some of you thinking that Tottenham would finish in the bottom half of the table, with 15% of you predicting that they’ll finish 10-12 places behind the Gunners. Another 14% of you put them 7-9 league positions behind Arsene Wenger’s men by the season’s end.
