What the papers say: Carlos Vela will join his Arsenal team mates in January

The internationals are finally over, so the sports writers can now get back to real football. There's a few stories in today's national newspapers about Arsenal, but the ones that catch the eye most involve Mexican wonderkid Carlos Vela being recalled to the club now that his working visa is sorted out.

Here’s what some of the main dailies are reporting:

The Mirror - Wenger set to call on Carlos
Arsene Wenger looks set to welcome back Mexican wonder-kid Carlos Vela to the Arsenal team in January. The 18-year-old striker, already a full international, caught the eye of the Gunners boss two years ago when he led his country's Under-17 side to World Cup glory.

The Daily Mail - Wenger to welcome back Mexican wonderkid in three months
Plagiarism is alive and well at the tabloids it would seem, as the Mail has the exact same story, word for word, as the Mirror: Arsene Wenger looks set to welcome back Mexican wonder-kid Carlos Vela to the Arsenal team in January. The 18-year-old striker, already a full international, caught the eye of the Gunners boss two years ago when he led his country's Under-17 side to World Cup glory.

The Sun - Jens: I'm still top of the stops
Jens Lehmann insists he has no weaknesses and rates himself 10 out of 10. The arrogant Arsenal stopper insists he should reclaim his place from Manuel Almunia, 30, against Bolton on Saturday.

The Independent - Bolton chasing coleman after Lee departure
Amidst all the yawning of the international coverage yesterday, Arsenal's opponents this weekend, Bolton Wanderers, brought Sammy Lee's miserable four-month spell in management to an end and the club is apparently inquiring about Chris Coleman's availability.

The Guardian - The Gallery: Robin van Persie
The Guardian has some fun photoshopping our Dutch striker in various poses, such as Batman & Robin and Robin’s nest.
