What the papers say

For the second day running, the newspapers are stacked with Jose Mourinho and Chelsea In Meltdown stories. There are a few Arsenal-related stories scattered through the sports pages though, so here’s what some of the dailies are reporting:

The Sun - Top Gunn Robin's flying high
Robin van Persie rubbed salt into Chelsea’s wounds by insisting no one can match Arsenal for thrills and excitement.

The Mirror - Ade heart and goal
Striker Emmanuel Adebayor last night claimed the Arsenal team spirit can help them win the title.

The Independent - Unity the key to Arsenal revival, says van Persie
Robin van Persie maintains Arsenal are the "unique" side of European football – but warned that expecting too much too soon could block the young side in their quest for glory.

The Daily Mail - Avram Grant: A new Arsene Wenger...or another Les Reed?
Two months ago to the day, a mellow Jose Mourinho sat in the tranquil surroundings of the Beverly Hills Hotel and welcomed Avram Grant into the Chelsea family. "Avram is here to help," explained a relaxed Mourinho as he outlined preparations for Chelsea's pre-season tour of America. "He does not want to create problems for people."

The Daily Express - Adebayor thanks the power of love
All the money in the world cannot buy it, age is apparently no barrier, and Emmanuel Adebayor claims Arsenal’s brilliant start to the season is built on it. Love is certainly all around the Emirates at the moment.
